SunTrust awards grant of $50,000 to VFEF
SunTrust Bank awarded a grant of $50,000 to the Virginia Free Enterprise Foundation to advance essential programs and research provided by VFEF in the coming year.
Virginia Governor Tim Kaine joined SunTrust President & CEO, C.T. Hill in making the presentation to VFEF past chairman S. Buford Scott of Scott & Stringfellow at a private reception and breakfast in late September.
Governor Kaine noted that Forbes.com ranks Virginia as the number one state for business in the country, and he thanked the leadership of VFEF "for your outstanding efforts to advance Virginia's favorable business environment."
